DSI straight titanium abutments are a common restorative solution and especially cost-effective. They are suitable for a wide range of restorations and for all treatment stages, providing good aesthetics, predictable results, and excellent long-term stability. They can be used both for single crowns and for full bridges.
The abutments are available in a variety of height and width options, allowing precise adaptation to the implant diameter. This creates a strong marginal seal and a stable connection between the abutment and the implant. They are manufactured from high-quality Grade 5 titanium, offering an ideal combination of high biocompatibility and maximum durability.
The 3.8 mm straight slim abutment with standard hex is intended for use with implants that have an internal hex compatible with DSI. It is especially suitable for narrow implants with diameters of 3.5 mm and 3.75 mm, enabling a natural restoration without protrusions in the implant neck area. With height markings and a solid wall thickness, the abutment can be ground and adjusted to match the shape of the future crown/bridge.
A slim abutment is used in cases of narrow or single implants, usually in areas where there is not enough space to place standard implants.
