DSI Tent Screw is designed for the fixation of titanium mesh membranes. It is a quick and easy solution for a GBR technique at 1-2-3 wall defects. Not only works for horizontal, but also for vertical augmentation. The screw can also be used for resorbable membranes if needed.
An aggressive tip design gives an option for self-drilling into the bone and enables precise positioning without the use of a drill. The screw is placed in the cortical bone granting exceptional stability for the whole procedure time. The neck of the screw is polished, and the upper part is wide with an entrance for an additional fixing screw for fixing the membrane in place. Such construction allows easy placement and fixation of the membrane and easy removal by the end of the treatment. The upper screw has a regular Phillips connection type.
DSI tent screw is made of biocompatible titanium alloy. It has a self-tapping body and self-piercing tip to facilitate fast placement without drilling. It also does not require any special instruments and can be installed with a regular abutment driver Ø1.25mm hexagon connection.
