DSI Snap-On Transfers are intended for the closed tray technique. The advantage of this method is that there is no need for cutting or modifying the standard tray. That way you greatly reduce the overall time of the impression-taking for you and reduce the chair time for the patient.
DSI Snap-On Transfers can be used to take an impression for single-tooth restorations, bridges, partial dentures, complete dentures, and more. The transfers are made out of high-quality titanium grade 5 instead of regular stainless steel. This gives these transfers a great advantage, as they can be used as temporary restoration abutments as well.
The snap-on cap allows much easier impression-taking than ever and provides outstanding precision. Due to the special snap-on Delrin® (acetal) plastic cap, the final impression can be sent to the laboratory without the metal part. The metal part can be acquired by the laboratory and it will be compatible with the cap in the original impression. Such a technique saves a great amount of time and work, allows you to make a temporary restoration with the metal abutment part, and grants perfectly accurate results for the final restoration.
